Paula has been with the practice since 2007 and excels at all aspects of the day-to-day running of the office. Before joining our practice in downtown Burlington, Paula worked at two prominent optical laboratories in Hamilton where she learned to fabricate glasses from start to finish. Here, she was involved in the surfacing, grinding, measuring and quality control aspects of prescription lens manufacturing. Along with reception duties, Paula is highly skilled at frame and lens selection, frame adjustment, contact lens insertion and removal training, and retinal photography.
Donna joined our team in 2008, bringing with her over 25 years of experience from the optical industry. She has worked for both optometrists and optical chains, gaining an insight into how both professional and retail offices are operated. Prior to her employment with us in 2008, Donna worked as a manager for Sear’s Optical, followed by an eight year managerial position at Pearl Vision. Donna is trained in all the various aspects of eye care in our office, such as frame selection and adjustments, performing visual field tests and administrative duties.
